FME only provides personal tuition in exceptional circumstances. ACT students are encouraged to make use of the free ACT technical queries service to deal with personal study issues.
Technical queries: extended service
As part of the technical queries service we can review worked past exams sent to us that meet the following criteria:
1. You should keep a copy of the exam, which must have been completed blind and within the appropriate time constraints.
2. You should self-mark and self-critique each question in your marked script against the examiner\\\'s solution.
3. You should provide us with a telephone number that we can contact you on to discuss your script.
Our objective in such reviews is to identify those areas where further study or improvement in technique is recommended.
Personal tuition: additional cost service
In exceptional circumstances, and for students who have clearly defined learning needs and for whom personal tuition is necessary to address those needs, and where resources permit, it may be possible to negotiate FME support for a clearly defined inidividual Learning Contract. Such students will usually have been unsuccessful at passing on at least two previous occasions.
A Learning Contract is designed to guide your studies more proactively. It is designed to fit the needs of individual students. It invariably involves significant question practice and debriefing sessions.
