Andrew Berkley, MA (Cantab) ACA AMCT
Andrew spent five years helping to privatise British Rail in the mid-nineties before training as a chartered accountant with KPMG. After four years of auditing, Andrew joined KPMG Corporate Finance where he specialised in PFI/PPP advisory work with clients including the Highways Agency, HM Customs & Excise and the Strategic Rail Authority. He is currently a presenter of exam and corporate training courses with FTC Kaplan.

Tony Graham, AMCT, FCA, MA, PGCE
Tony stopped doing ‘proper’ work and moved into training nearly 15 years ago. A former director at ATC, he delivers courses in all areas of the ICAEW, ACCA and CIMA exams, in all levels of CFA and for a variety of organisations needing tailored training.

Steve Nightingale CFA, ACA, MSI, BSc
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers where I specialised in risk management, assurance and internal training. I developed my career in Financial Markets with Credit Suisse First Boston working within Financial and Risk Control.
In 1999 I moved into financial markets training where, as Head of CFA Training at BPP, I was responsible for product and market development.
I then joined The Financial Training Company as Regional Manager for Scotland, and subsequently, heading their Financial Markets division in London.
I have taught extensively towards the Chartered Financial Analyst®, Investment Management Certificate, and a wide range of tailored professional development courses. These courses include fund management, securities and derivatives, in a number of financial centres in Europe, Asia and North America.

Theresa Sagyam ACA, MSI, BA
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 1994 within the International and Executive Personal Tax Division.
After a successful period in professional accountancy tuition, I embarked on a City career specialising in Financial Markets training.
Over the last 7 years, I have delivered bespoke and exam courses to delegates from leading investment banks and asset management houses including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, UBS, Coutts and Ernst & Young.
My work has spanned courses across private banking, investment management, FSA regulations, investment operations, tax planning and financial and investment accounting.
My industry experience included the role of business development manager for an investment boutique specialising in film production partnerships and managing client relationships.

Previously an auditor for Spicer and Pegler in Guernsey, she has been training since 1995, and is currently a senior tutor for BPP. When not teaching she can be found on the slopes perfecting her skiing and snowboarding techniques.

Robert was appointed Group Treasurer of Barratt Developments plc in April 2007. Until the takeover by Pernod Ricard, he was Group Treasurer of Allied Domecq Plc, and is a regular presenter at ACT events.

Miranda Chitty BA Dip Arch, AMCT
As well as tutoring in finance, Miranda runs her own health and lifestyle consultancy specialising in sports nutrition and weight management, and has been known to give advice on exam performance nutrition. She also mentors others wanting to set up and successfully run their own business.

Vijay Lee BA, MA, MBA, CAIIB, PGCHE, ILTM
Vijay spent over 20 years in senior positions with the State Bank of India - India’s biggest commercial bank. He specialised in corporate finance, small business finance, policy-making and controlling positions in the bank’s head office. In 1992 Vijay switched to academia, and has been a Principal Lecturer in London South Bank University since 1993. Lately he has specialised in corporate finance course development, and has acted as an educational consultant to three UK professional bodies and to other UK universities.

Greg Mayes, AMCT CFA ACA BSc
Greg progressed from the dizzy heights of being an auditor at Ernst& Young, through business planning at Hertz, into financial training – initially at BPP. He has also tutored courses in the CFA program for a number of years, along with ICAEW, ACCA and CIMA. Until recently, Greg was Head of Professional Development at Barclays Global Investors - the largest asset manager in the world with over $1.8Tr assets under management. He has recently moved across to Barclays Capital as a Financial Product trainer for both internal and external clients. When not at work, Greg plays with his three kids, of whom the eldest is only 5, so watch out for the slightly juvenile sense of humour!

Helen Sanders MSc, PhD
Helen was formerly Director of SunGard AvantGard and worked in corporate treasury in the energy sector and tax. Until recently she also ran an art gallery in Kingston upon Thames.

Rachel Sopp MA(Cantab) MCT, FCA, LRSM.
Rachel is a former European Treasury management consultant, where major projects included setting up a European cash pool, treasury & balance sheet risk evaluation, and the selection & implementation of treasury software. An MCT prize-winner in Corporate Finance and Treasury Management, she is now a freelance lecturer and tutor and chief examiner for two UK professional bodies. Current challenges include playing the piano accompaniments for her teenage children\\\\\\\'s Grade VIII trumpet and cello pieces, and finding a quiet corner of the house in which to work.

Sinéad Stringer AMCT, BSc(hons)
Sinéad has over 9 years of Corporate Treasury experience with the likes of RBS and Barclays, both in the City and off-shore. She is currently at Anglo Irish Bank in London developing their expertise in Corporate Risk Management advice on the back of their excellent reputation in the lending market.

Doug Williamson, FCT
Doug has worked on the ACT’s education programme since 2001 in a number of different roles, currently serving on the AMCT exam board. He was formerly an accountant with KPMG and an in-house tax adviser with Virgin Entertainment Group. He passed the ACT’s full Membership exams in 2000 with two distinctions and a prize.
